Had a fantastic first session doing our EBT with Alan so we booked up right away for our advanced training which we had with Nik. Both my wife and I really enjoyed it and will be returning again for 1:1 coaching. Great location and friendly bunch of folks. And a lovely bacon sarnie !

From the booking process to the welcome on the day from Phil & his team . Our instructors Nigel & Rick were fantastic , they put us all at ease and guided us throughout the day & we improved which shows they know what they are talking about . Throughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be returning to try is again

I had booked a beginners training package for two of us and woow, from the moment we arrived, we have had a terrific experience. It started with a wood fire and culminated with Alan, our coach with whom we have had a I credible time. I’m already looking at soon coming back
Hi Phil and everyone associated with the club,
where do I begin? Well, a warm welcome we hoped for as we were very nervous but after that welcome nerves ceased to exist! A lady who was tending to the fabulous firepit who was a experienced shooter just came up to us and spoke away like she new us from us from old we believe she was a member took our breath away.
Our instructor Alan he made us feel at ease after the initial introduction he was a laugh a minute he’s hilarious. we are returning for the Advanced Basic Tuition in November we cant wait.
I am trying to convince my partner to come to shoot, I have been telling my work colleagues about my Saturday
I just wish I found this establishment sometime ago but now I have am well and truly looking to try my utmost to advance to the next level and beyond we are hooked!

Had a brilliant introduction session given to me as a gift. Phil and the team made it a brilliant experience, very organised, very efficient with an excellent setup. I would highly recommend Headley Clay Pigeon club for a great day out.
I purchased some vouchers at Christmas for my brother , nephew and myself to visit and i must say a huge thank you to Phil and the team following Saturdays visit, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left we felt part of Headley family.
From the smiling faces from the guys manning the car park, the welcoming from the guys in reception to the guys cooking and serving drinks, it just felt such a happy place.
The instructors were kind and friendly and being first timers made you relax and feel comfortably.
Definitely will be visiting again.
Took my friend Keith along today for a basic training session, couldn’t have been a better experience, I’ll definitely be booking myself in for one. A massive thank you to everyone for making us welcome.
My husband and I have come a few times now, comleting the EBT, ABT and recently doing a compak tutorial session. We love the club, you always receive such a warm welcome. The instructors are brilliant and there are many different tuitiuon packages to suit all abilities. There is a great social feeling to the club too, with the fantastic kitchen where you can get a burger and a tea or coffee, and just stand round and chat with others round the fire. Highly recommended!
Bought my wife the basic and advanced training sessions as a present. Communication was great and very helpful when we needed to change the booked dates.
She thoroughly enjoyed and all compliments to David her coach.
Well done to the young boys who were great at organising the parking.

I’ve just got back from a 1:1 session with Dave and thought I’d comment to say what a great coach he is and that it was really worth while doing the session.
I’m new to shotgun shooting having shot rifles for 6 years so he had his work cut out trying to get me into a new mindset. I came away feeling more confident and that I had an idea of what I was doing rather than pulling the trigger and hoping for the best.
My first experience shooting was a very positive and successful one thanks to Headley! A mix of beginners and seasoned shooters were there. All are given the same friendly welcome. The surroundings are beautiful. The instruction was superb, organisation faultless. I arrived thinking I would not hit anything, the gun would be too heavy, that the kick would hurt but I was keen to give it a go. I left very happy with the benefit of expertly delivered instruction in safety, handling, aiming and firing the gun and my EBT certificate. And I was hitting the clays, Whoop! The instructor went out of his way to ensure everyone in our group of 6 got the individual coaching they needed to succeed. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
Another brilliant session at Headley – first class tuition from Nick for my son. The club combines outstanding health & safety with a friendly atmosphere and great hospitality. Phil and Kerry are always so helpful and doing a great job in inspiring the next generation of shooters
Visited Headley Clay Pigeon Shooting Club as a very nervous first timer and from the moment we arrived everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming with everything very well organised!
My partner and I did the Essential Basic Tuition package and were in a small group of 4 for our tuition. Our tutor Rik was brilliant, patient, helpful and great at spotting where we were going wrong and helping us to improve, so much so that despite my reservations (and lack of coordination) I successfully hit many of the clay pigeons. They also had equipment on hand to adapt to a taller member of our group and lighter guns for younger or less strong members of the group making it accessible for all.
There was also free tea and coffee and a lovely lunch of greek salad or burgers included in the package, along with a cap, eye protection and ear plugs so felt like great value.
Absolutely amazing experience. If you’re a seasoned shooter, or it’s your first time, this is the place. The ambience is amazing. The staff are great, you have a phenomenal shooting academy, 10 english Sporting stands, DTL & Compak, communal areas and an awesome kitchen. There are toilets, so no need for the bushes. You have amazing hot food for both meat and vegan eaters. If you want an amazing experience and a new hobby, get in contact with Headley, they are at the top of their game.
Just got back from Headley Clay Pigeon and can’t wait till the next time! We got there and were greeted by Phil. He showed us where to check in and the atmosphere was brilliant! Gun shots going off everywhere, which is understandable being at a shooting range. What an experience! Anyone who has thought about trying this sport out but has doubts, go and do it! Headley have great staff who make you feel welcome and talk you though absolutely everything. Only regret, I just wish I’d taken up this great sport sooner. Looking forward to the next time.
Absolutely fantastic day out with my 15 year old daughter (Birthday present), Phil and team were so welcoming, complimentary breakfast and barbecue which was amazing.
We had tuition by Rob Ingram who so professional and knowledgeable.

Phil and his team run a fabulous club and are brilliant hosts – the setting is lovely, the staff are really helpful and the instructors are fabulous- they made our day out a truly special event and all 11[!] of our party really enjoyed the day and we will be back !! It’s fun, exciting, safe and totally engaging. Teas coffees and a brilliant burger/salads/ at lunchtime kept us well fed and watered and – all in all – it’s one of the best days out you can have ! Amazing experience…..PULL !!
We had an absolutely amazing day today! We did the Essential Basic Tuition, which was given as a gift. The team were so helpful over the phone and on email. We needed to change the day twice due to unforeseen circumstances which they were very helpful about. When we got there we had a lovely bbq before shooting, with the ladies being very friendly. We were taken to the shooting area and our instructor was Alan – he was fantastic and made our day!! Can’t recommend this place enough and we will be back!!

It is not often you go somewhere new and feel so warmly enveloped within their community. What a wonderful place. My sons and I did our advanced basic training today with instructor Robert, he made it fun and so enjoyable. We are going to come back again really soon. I see a new family hobby on the horizon! Rick coached my wife and I through the ABT yesterday, and our 10 year old did his EBT. We also shot (at!) a shed load of clays. Happy days, great place, fantastic hosts and a brilliant coach. THANKS!!
I had the best day ever in this place, Phil and his team are amazing friendly and really knowdgable instructors, especially Nik Lenson ,he is the greatest instructor I had so far , I absolutely injoyed every bit of shooting with him and he done a quiz for me at the end which is so kind of him , I definitely recommend this place and absolutely worth to try. Thanks guys 🙂
What a great day and I quickly fell straight back in love with shooting. Everybody I met members, staff, dogs and especially the coaching staff were so friendly and helpful. Had instruction from Rik and took down all of the clays on the last stand.. Just a super friendly well run shooting club… and 5 mins from my house. Am booked in for the next shoot. Got my cabinet fitted and waiting for SGL

I’ve been a member for a long time . Headley shooting is the best clay shooting club about hands down . Friendly and super well organised. Phil and the whole team always top notch.
We got my dad a voucher to do his EBT for his birthday, and I can not recommend it enough. The team were so friendly and made sure we had a great time. Our instructor Nik was great and took time and attention to make sure we were improving with each shot.
We then enjoyed a beautiful lunch and enjoyed chatting to other club members.
My partner then went on to do a sporting round which was fun and challenging. We can’t wait to enjoy many more Saturdays shooting here! Thank you so much to Phil and the team.
A very friendly and welcoming team, first class instructors, we had a great morning thankyou. They even facilitated my arriving by helicopter. Highly recommended, I will certainly be visiting again next year.

Lived in Headley and had no idea this place was here! It’s in a beautiful location in the woods and we had a perfect sunny day for our professional tuition. We were made to feel extremely welcome and the hospitality is amazing, bacon rolls pre-shoot and a BBQ afterwards. Our tutor was really good and determined each of us would at least hit something that morning and all 6 of us did! It’s moments away from Junction 9 of the M25 and the Cock Inn just up the track is a great place for post shoot drinks/food although you won’t leave hungry. This was a birthday present for me and I thoroughly enjoyed doing something a bit different. I think we lucked out being close to an excellent club and would have no hesitation in recommending.
Thanks very much for making Craig’s birthday such an enjoyable event. You have lovely grounds and appreciate your whole teams dedication for fun and safety in equal measures.

Just had a great morning with Keith teaching my son and nephew (both 18 yr olds) on their first ever clay pigeon shooting. They loved it, Keith was brilliant with them. Hospitality was excellent – wish we could’ve stayed for the amazing bbq at the end. A great idea for Christmas presents or birthday parties.

I didn’t like my day out I loved it. This is Greek hospitality, treated like family. There is free tasty Greek BBQ plus tea and coffee. My very experienced instructor, Alan, was very calm, informative, patient and with a sence of humour [top man]. The way the many shooting stands are set out is very safe and interesting, not just in a field. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody, beginner or experienced, I VILL BE BACK.

Can’t thank you enough, our instructor Allan Bush is a top bloke, patient, informative and fun. We came as a family male,female, young and old and everybody hit clay’s, including my wife who wasn’t even sure if she would take part being of a nervous disposition. We all felt Allan’s calm nature and humor made us feel very much at ease. I believe my boys and I will definitely be back.
My advice is don’t think about it book it.
